Lake Fishing:
Traditional crayfish pot from tackle shop

Bait (fish parts, chicken, pellet)
Wading Irrigation Ditches:
Metal waste basket
Broom handle

Licenses & Regulations
No license required, no limit except on native crayfish (limit: 15). WDFW provides a pamphlet identifying native species and suggested size limits.
When & Where to Go
• Open all year
• Irrigation canals are best during warm months
Transportation Issues
Crayfish need to be kept alive until cooked. This requires periodically changing the water to maintain oxygen, especially if you have a large catch.
